Three teachers from the ME-NA (Ministry of National Education and Literacy) run the daily curriculum for the education centre at FOGEBU. The aim of the academic program is to prepare the students for the CEP (Primary Studies Certificate) exams. Subjects tought range from reading and writing to science and mathematics as well as civic duties. The exams are written at the end of the three year schooling period; thus far, FOGEBU has had a 100% success rate in passing the exams.
Students' accomodations are divided into separate houses with multiple bunk beds in each room. Each house has a guardian that looks after the well-being of the students; his work ranges from helping the youth with homework to addressing personal issues.
